1. Wool Carders
2. Plants -- another Hibiscus bush with orange flowers, hydrangea, gardenia, roses (see below)
3. A new pair of tennis shoes/workout clothes

That's it. I'm boring this year.

Next year, I'm going to hit the Grower's Outlet in Loganville. It closes for the summer on June 13th, and opens again in the fall. I'd been checking it out online, and it looks like an awesome place.

I'd like to get some roses next year. I understand the appeal of knock-out roses and such, but I'd also like to get a couple of heirloom-quality roses. I really like the Peace Rose. I also love the look of this rose: and think it would look awesome in the garden. Seeing how I am not a bright color person normally, I think it's funny that I like so many bright pinks and oranges and purples in my garden.

I'd also like some climbing roses. I need an arbor for them to climb, but I think we can work on that. We do have some columns...maybe they could frame the entrance to the garden. My vision is to have the garden fenced with white fencing and an arbor leading into it, and roses all the way around the fencing and over the arbor.

Sounds wonderful! And I will do what I can for presents of some kind. Do you have the website for plans for carders? I can't really find anything practical...

As always, miss you.

I'm not sure it's possible to make the carders, unfortunately. I was thinking of combs, when I said that, which aren't quite the same thing.

It's not a big deal though! Bake me a cake. :)
